Travel through the Southern Highlands, noted for its stud properties and country retreats and on through the Goulburn Sheep Grazing area. Pass mysterious Lake George and enter the Australian Capital Territory.
Canberra's Buildings, Diplomatic Embassies and New National Museum

Travel by the Old Parliament House, the National Library, The Treasury, the Parliamentary Triangle, enjoy a guided tour of the new National Museum, see the High Court. Tour past the Prime Minister's Lodge and the unique Embassies of Thailand, USA, South Africa, France, Mexico, Malaysia, Indonesia, Spain, Finland, Belgium, New Zealand, Canada, Great Britain and many more. Enjoy the view of Canberra's beautiful Lake Burley Griffin with its Carillon and spectacular Captain Cook Memorial Water Jet. See the Royal Military College, the Australian Defence Academy and the American War Memorial. Leaving Canberra, we climb Mt Ainslea for a panoramic view over the city. Our return to Sydney will include a stop for dinner (own expense).

Canberra

Canberra is a masterpiece of modern city planning, striking architecture, parks and gardens and is the centre for politics, the Arts, Science, business and entertainment. Canberra was designed in the early 1900's by Walter Burley Griffin. Many thousands today come to Canberra to marvel at the modern architecture and to experience and explore the rich fabric of our heritage. 

 Sydney & Bondi Beach

Our tour travels via Darling Harbour and passing Sydney Entertainment Centre, Sydney Aquarium and Sydney Opera House. Tour through The Rocks (birthplace of Sydney) with its colourful and historic past. Arrive at Mrs Macquaries Chair for a photo stop and witness superb views of the city skyline, Opera House, Bridge and Harbour. Sample the atmosphere as we drive through Kings Cross with its buskers, coffee shops and clubs. We'll take a break at Bondi and you'll have time to stroll along the beach. Bondi Beach is Australia's most famous surf beach.

Harbour Luncheon Cruise

At the conclusion of Inside Sydney Tour 81, enjoy an unforgettable luncheon cruise on Blue Line Cruises' newest boat the Magistic on one of the world's most beautiful natural harbours.

 Blue Mountains

See the huge Darling Harbour complex and Sydney's Monorail before heading west through historic Parramatta, the settlement of Emu Plains and the towns of Blaxland, Wentworth Falls and Lawson. At Katoomba, witness breathtaking views over the Jamison and Megalong Valleys. See the Three Sisters, a giant rock formation relating to early Aboriginal legends.

Spectacular Jenolan CavesTour through mountain towns and onto Jenolan Caves, Australia's most spectacular underground limestone caves. You'll have time to relax and view the Grand Arch, the mysterious Blue Lake and the beautiful Caves Guesthouse (a bistro lunch is available at your expense.) From Jenolan return through the Blue Mountains National Park. On your return to Sydney we'll look at an Australian panorama video.

 Pacific Coast and Central Coast

Head north across the Sydney Harbour Bridge and continue to travel the scenic route along the coast highway. Make a morning tea stop (own expense) in the beautiful seaside village of Terrigal - geographical heart of the Central Coast.

Port Stephens

Port Stephens is a paradise of crystal clear bays, white beaches, inlets, islands and a permanent home of Bottlenose dolphins.

Dolphin Watch Cruise

At Nelson Bay, join your luxury cruiser to look for dolphins, but they usually find us first! Perhaps try an exhilarating ride on the boom net - you might find an inquisitive visitor with you! Port Stephens is home to the dolphins year round and our cruise is entirely in harbour waters and smooth sailing. At Stockton Bight sand dunes, enjoy a 4WD experience and the opportunity to try sandboarding!
